2005 Beardown Awards:Worst Game

I wont dwell too much on this one and i cant put it any better than Darren did.

After my 3 hours sleep I still don't feel gutted. I just think the Carolina Panthers played a little better than us and that the defense went AWOl at crucial times. I still can't believe we put up 21 points and LOST...but that's what happened. Back in 2001/2 playoffs we got totally outclassed. Jauron didn't prepare the team for playoff football and we came out and got smacked around. We could have played the Eagles 1,000 times that year and never beaten them. This year we slugged it out with a team that's slightly better than us - the only difference being that they have an offensive playmaker and we don't. That was the difference in the ballgame. On another night we could have beat the Panthers.

From my own personal point of view I thought that we finally saw what was believed about Rex. He got his first half jitters out of the way to lead the offense to three touchdowns. Thats why he is there and thats what we will have if he keeps fit..
